The vision of HES extends beyond serving middle and upper-class families. Our model is to use our international schools to reach out to the wider community through the following initiatives:

• Teacher training: Providing teacher training to public schools in the city
   

• Resource sharing: Giving access to poorer communities to access sports and educational facilities including library spaces
   

• Enrichment programmes and leadership camps: organising capacity building for teachers and students from poorer communities
   

• Curriculum development: working with poorer schools to develop educational curriculum, specifically in the enhancement of the English language
   

• Student scholarships: providing scholarships for poorer families to afford international school education
   

• Family outreach: providing free parenting seminars to poorer communities in the city
