DATIN CHAN - LOW KAM YOKE

Datin Chan is the co-founder and was the former Group Chief Executive of the HELP Education Group. Steered the group from a small tutorial centre to being listed on BURSA Malaysia in 2008 and being listed on the Forbes Asia’s 200 Best Under a Billion list. She was also Ernst & Young Female Entreprenuer of the year in 2011 and was honoured with the Order National de Merit from the French government. Datin Chan has always believed that education is key to changing lives and has annually contributed roughly RM20m in financial assistance to needy students. Datin Chan is also the Chairperson of the Malayan Public Library.

MR ADAM CHAN EU-KHIN

Currently the Deputy Executive Chairman of HELP Education Group Sdn Bhd (HEG), Adam was the Executive Director responsible for Investor Relations for HELP International Corporation Bhd when it was listed on BURSA Malaysia. He currently leads the senior leadership team to manage the various business units within HEG. Adam also initiated Project Self-HELP which provided educational opportunities to refugees and trained over 1,200 refugee children in Malaysia. Adam sits on the board of various HEG subsidiaries and has been pushing HELP’s pursuit in environmental sustainability through solar energy and water harvesting. Adam also has working experience in Singapore and Hong Kong before joining HEG.

DR D. GERARD J. LOUIS

Dr Gerard has been involved in the field of education, counselling, and training for almost 40 years. He has spent over 20 years in educational leadership in mission, private and international schools in Malaysia. He has been with the HELP Education Group for the last 23 years. He is currently the CEO of the HELP Education Services and oversees the management of three K-12 International Schools as well as other educational services offered by the company. He is also a Pro Vice-Chancellor at HELP University and was the Founding Principal of HELP International School.

MARK LEE

Mark oversees strategic planning at the HELP Group, leveraging over 20 years of expertise. Formerly, he led Strategic Planning and International at Malaysia Deposit Insurance Corporation. He also chaired the Asia Pacific Research Committee of the International Association of Deposit Insurers and was a Senior Fellow at the Jeffrey Sachs Center on Sustainable Development. Earlier, his roles at Bank Negara Malaysia and the Securities Commission focused on strategic planning, organisational transformation, banking supervision, and capital market regulation. At Ernst & Young, he specialised in transaction advisory services.
