Tunku Putra-HELP School wrapped up its highly anticipated Family Exploration Day with an inspiring turnout of more than 100 families, turning the campus into a bustling hub of curious parents, excited children, and future-focused conversations.
Held on Saturday, 27 September 2025, the morning kicked off with a powerful keynote titled “Raising Gen Z & Gen Alpha in a Fast-Changing World.” Dr. Gerard Louis, CEO of HELP Education Services, tackled the big parenting questions of today, everything from navigating tech and academic pressure to raising adaptable, resilient young people who can thrive in a shifting world. No small task, but parents showed up ready to learn.

Families then dove into a series of interactive workshops led by education experts, including:
What to Expect on Your Child’s Primary Learning Journey
Journeying with Your Child Through Every Step of Their Learning Process (Mandarin session)
Public, Private, or International School: What’s the Difference and Why It Matters – a clear, practical look at SPM, IGCSE, A Levels, Foundation pathways, and more
While parents were deep in discussion, children got their own taste of school life through hands-on fun STEM challenges, Makers’ Stations, and Exploration Corners brought laughter, creativity, and just the right amount of glorious messiness. Designed especially for families new to Tunku Putra-HELP, the activities gave children the chance to explore freely and get a feel of the school’s vibrant community.

“Parents deserve more than brochures and Open Days. They deserve a space to ask honest questions, gain clarity about their children’s future, and experience our philosophy in action,” said Shirley Harrison, Executive Principal of Tunku Putra-HELP. “Family Exploration Day was created exactly for that purpose and we’re thrilled to see such strong community engagement.”
With enthusiastic feedback and a packed campus, Family Exploration Day set the tone for more collaborative, community-centered events to come. After all, raising future-ready children isn’t a solo mission, it’s a team effort, and Saturday proved the team is strong.
